1. Record Yourself

Film yourself saying "I am not invisible." and as many of the following phrases as you think have applied to your life. (Don't answer the questions, just ask them!):

  1. "Have you ever had an issue finding safe, affordable, or accessible housing?"
  2. "Have you ever had a hard time getting caregivers or personal assistance in your home?"
  3. "Have you ever had a hard time getting healthcare you need?"
  4. "Have you ever had a hard time getting a ride where you needed to go?"
  5. "Have you had a long-lasting health condition that impacted your life?"
  6. “Have you ever wanted to do more things with your community but were not given the chance?”

Recording tips:

  • Try to film yourself waist-up or your whole body in frame
  • Film yourself with your phone or camera sideways (large width)
  • Record somewhere with minimal background noise (especially traffic & wind)
  • Put a few seconds of silence before and after you speak each phrase to make it easier to video edit

2. Submit Your Recording(s)

Upload your recording at our survey link. You will need to fill out the included release before submitting up to three clips at a time.

We can also receive video clips in other ways if that is easier - such as private YouTube links or other hosting methods if they are easier for you. You will still need to fill out the release at the survey link
